The DRC is an independent non-profit agency providing low-cost mediation services to individuals and businesses in Fort Bend and surrounding counties. We utilize volunteer mediators who are qualified according to the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Statute, and the curriculum of the Texas Mediation Trainers’ Roundtable. Further, by joining our roster, you commit yourself to compliance with the policies and procedures of the DRC, and the standards of practice and ethical code of conduct adopted by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. The Fort Bend County Dispute Resolution Center is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to providing high-quality, low cost dispute resolution services for all people in Fort Bend County and the surrounding counties. We are not part of the Fort Bend County government or court system.
Mediation is a confidential process in which an impartial person, a mediator, encourages and facilitates communication between parties who are involved in a conflict and strives to promote an agreement or understanding between the parties. The primary responsibility for a resolution of the mediated conflict rests with the parties.

Once we receive a separate completed intake form from each party, we will then provide the *dates the DRC is available to mediate your case. *All parties must agree to the date and time before we can schedule the mediation (dates and times are subject to availability).
